About the Artist
From a very young age, Nathan Klare knew what he wanted to be - an artist. It all started at the age of three, when he first viewed Walt Disney’s The Little Mermaid and instantly became fascinated with the characters. From that point on, Nathan used an array of crayons, colored pencils, and markers to create drawings of his favorite subject matter.
As Nathan grew older, his love for art continued to develop. All throughout his schooling, art class was his favorite part of the day. He found great enjoyment in the ability to be creative as he worked to refine his artistic skills. His talent to make something beautiful with a variety of artistic mediums always brought forth a strong sense of accomplishment.
After graduating from high school in 2007, Nathan continued his education at Thomas More College, where he majored in Fine Art with a concentration in Graphic Design. Although he continued to enjoy the Fine Arts, Nathan experienced a growing interest for graphic design, finding great satisfaction in the incorporation of crisp defined lines and shapes in his artworks. It was this growing fascination that led him to develop an interest in the possibility of working in the field of logo design.
In 2012, Nathan graduated from college and began working towards obtaining a job in the graphic design field, with a focus on logo design. Over the years after his college graduation, Nathan continued to draw in his free time, strengthening his use of his favorite artistic medium, Prismacolor colored pencils. He started drawing commissioned pieces for some of his friends, and as time went on, he strengthened his portfolio of work. In 2016, he started entering art and craft fairs. To this day, he still enjoys graphic design, but has been drawn even further towards the Fine Arts.
